“Lighting in the Site with Dance” [AKITO SENGOKU(TIME PAINTING) , ryotaro (sound) , Keiko Yamaguchi (dance)

“Lighting in the Site with Dance” is a performance by Keiko Yamaguchi (dance) and ryotaro
(accordion with synthesiser) with an unique visual artist AKITO SENGOKU. ryotaro and
Keiko have toured their dance piece ” Emballage” in Kyoto, Bordeaux, Orlean, Paris and
Stroud (UK) in spring 2015, which received great acclaim in each city. As a visual artist,
AKITO has been developing his original style called TIME PAINTING using Overhead
projectors (OHP), collaborating with various kinds of musicians and dancers as well as other
visual artists from both inside and outside Japan. The photo exhibition “TIME PAINTING”
” LIGHT RESTRAINT” by Naoki Fujita was a documentation of a session of these three

The team performed a piece in Hi Seoul Festival 2015 OFF Program and
attracted the audience in Seoul.

仙石彬人
1983年 静岡県浜松市生まれ。京都市在住。2004年より「時間に絵を描く」をテーマに、OHPを用いたヴィジュアルによるライブパフォーマンス”TIME PAINTING”をはじめる。宇宙や空、または細胞の世界を覗きこんだような抽象的なヴィジュアルイメージは、カラーインクやオイル、水などの液体を使って即興的に作られ、投影されている。
山本精一, ナスノミツル, Fernando Kabusacki, CINEMA dub MONKS, Shing02ほか国内外のミュージシャンや、小野雅子, 鈴木ユキオのほかダンサーや舞踏家などジャンルを問わず様々な分野の表現者とコラボレートを繰り返し、流れていく夜にまぼろしのような時間を浮かびあがらせている。
国内各地でのイベント出演や、こども向けWS「じかんに絵をかこう」開催のほか、自主企画イベントも多数行なう。また、”ODISHA BIENNALE 2013″ (インド, オディシャ州)や”HI SEOUL FESTIVAL 2015″ (ソウル市立美術館, 韓国)ほか、これまでにスウェーデン、ノルウェー、台湾など海外のアートイベント、フェスティバルでもパフォーマンスを行っている。
2015年11月28日には、LIVE空間とは別の様々なメディアにヴィジュアルイメージを投影する実験の場として、新しく立ち上げた自主レーベルTIME AND SPACE PROJECTIONSより、山本精一 勝野タカシ PON2 仙石彬人による即興演奏を公開収録した1st LIVE album “∞” [CD+VIDEO] をリリース。

AKITO SENGOKU
Currently residing in Kyoto. From 2004, he began performing live shows called
“TIME PAINTING” on the theme of “Drawing a picture on Time and Space” by
using Overhead Projectors. The show attempts to depict abstract images like looking
into the universe, the deep sky, and the microcosmos by using mediums such as
color ink, oil and water. This unique improvised performance built around 3
Overhead Projectors is like a storytelling through Light, creating a layered tapestry
of multi images that are seamlessly interwoven.

エレクトロニクスを融合したアコーディオン弾き。96年からナスノミツル (アルタードステイツ)、三条とおる (EP-4)らの［elements］に加入後、数々のアングラの巨匠達との共演を経て近年、梅津和時らと共に中山ラビのツアーメンバーを務め、アルバム[ My Back Pages ]をリリース。’12年よりFRYING DUTCHMANのレコーディングに参加した事をきっかけに、ツアーに同行。またミュージシャンだけでなくダンサー、パフォーマー等との共演を展開。ヨーロッパを中心に海外でのライヴ活動も精力的に行い、’15年にはHi Seoul Festival に出演。’10, ’11年と、coba主催のイヴェントに参加。’09年から京都木屋町UrBANGUILDのブッキング担当。
早朝の三条大橋と猫をこよなく愛する。

ryotaro is a Kyoto based accordionist, composer and performer. He uses MIDIaccordion;
intermixing accordion, synthesizer and programmed sounds to create
compositions. He graduated in ’96 from Kyoto Seika University. Soon afterwards he
formed the band “elements” with Mitsuru Nasuno, Toru Sanjyo and Yung Tsubotaj
(EP-4). He has collaborated and improvised with various dancers, actors and
painters. In 2008, ryotaro released his 1st solo album “Jelly, nico & I”. Since 2010,
he started working as a booking manager of an art space in Kyoto called
UrBANGUILD (http://www.urbanguild.net) . Here he
encountered and worked with different artists in the region such as Tenko Ima
(Butoh dancer), Akito Sengoku (Time Paintaing). In 2015, ryotaro toured with Keiko
Yamaguchi in France; Bordeaux, Orelean, Paris and Stroud in England and
performed a dance piece “Emballage”.

山口惠子/ Keiko Yamaguchi
イギリス・ロンドンでパフォーマンス／演劇を三年間学ぶ。京都を拠点に俳優・演出として活動。主な出演作品に、松本雄吉演出「イキシマ」「石のような水」「十九歳のジェイコブ」「レミング」がある。2011年BRDGを立ち上げ、京都に住む多国籍の人たちへのインタビューを元に作品を作っている。その他、国際演劇フェスティバルや滞在制作を通して、多文化のアーティストと共同制作を多く行っている。http://brdg-ing.tumblr.com/

 Keiko Yamaguchi, a dancer, actress and theatre director based in Kyoto. After
studying performing arts at Rose Bruford College in London, she has been working
in Japan as a dancer and an actress with prominent theatre directors such as Yukichi
Matsumoto and Masataka Matsuda, performed in commercial theatres such as New
National Theatre Tokyo and PRCO. Besides, she has been creating her own dance
pieces which cross over the boundary between theatre and dance. In 2010, with
other artists in Kyoto, she started theatre group called BRDG to produce original

 Yuki Nakagawa： Born in 1986. Performance, composition, direction using electric cello, field-recording. Join the band “swimm”, “Yuki Nakagawa, band”. 濱大二郎(painting)
島根県、出雲生まれ。2006年にカナダのトロントへ単身移住、現地で映像作品の衣装と美術に携わる。2011年帰国、2012年SICF12準グランプリ受賞。2014年「Nuit Blanche Kyoto」に参加。2015年オランダ、アムステルダムにて個展「INVISIBLE」を開催。同年、Red dot art fair in ART BASEL MIAMI 参加。2016年、NHK90周年大河ファンタジー「精霊の守人」に出演の平 幹二朗演ずる聖導師の衣装装飾と絵付けを担当。現在京都を拠点に活動中。

Daijiro Hama
I’m from Izumo and based in Kyoto now. My work doesn’t need words, but speaks for itself in a universal language. There is so much more than meets the eye and you can feel these deeper underlying meanings speaking to you on a personal level. Currently he only paints monochrome works using mainly sumi ink. Interestingly enough black and white makes it more colourful by leaving more to the imagination; therefore it is possible to look at the works endlessly, seeing new things each time.

今村達紀 1981年生まれ。2008年〜2009年e-danceの全活動にダンサー、振付家、tuba奏者として参加。 きたまり、多田淳之介、塚原悠也（contact gonzo）、桑折現、白井剛らの作品にダンサーとして関わる。自身の作品に関節を鳴らすサウンドパフォーマンス「関節話法」、ルールに従って息を止めて踊る「無呼吸」などがある。ある音楽家に言わせると、光の射す厨房で和菓子を丹精につくっているようなダンスを踊る。

Tatsunori Imamura (dance) Tatsunori IMAMURA has worked with Kitamari, Junnosuke Tada, Yuya Tsukahara (contact Gonzo), Tsuyoshi Shirai, among other artists. Imamura also creates his own works such as Joint speech, which is a performance using the sound of joint, Apnea, a dance performance following certain rules without breathing, and more. Between 2008 and 2009, Immamura participated in many activities by “e-dance”, a dance community based in Kyoto, as a dancer, choreographer and tuba player.

2003年、春に結成、関西を中心に活動。 ラスとガキ、女性二人によるほぼアカペラのユニット。 2007年春には、フランス、ニームにて、 日本のアーティストが出るフェスティバル、 『L’EXPERIENCE JAPONAISE』に出演 2009年にミニヨーロッパツアーに行ったり 色んなところで唄ってます。 二声で奏でられるライブ空間は独特の浮遊感と緊張感が混在する。 いつもそばにあるあんなことやこんなこと、 まぶたを閉じて浮かぶココロ模様や色景色をコトバに。 何色でもない音空間を声で奏でる。 今日も唄う。明日も唄う。 ふらふらと。ふわふわと。 二つの魂が遊ぶ。 憑依するものの怪、でもどこかみんなのうた。 怪しいけど愉快な音世界、 そこは、あらゆる自意識とは無縁に、ただ声と唄が存在し、 ピュアな無機質的空間に包まれる場所。 声の次の次元を垣間見せる。 の喉を震わせる度に絵が動き、唄が生まれる。 音楽でありながらコード感がなく、 リズムというものも厳密な意味でないに等しい。 しかし確実に旋律が存在し、リズムが埋め込まれている。 音楽という決まり事から脱っしながらも、あくまで音楽であり続ける… でも、そんなことなんて何処吹く風。 『音と戯れるように遊ぶ。』

Bakirinosu
Our unit form in 2003 and we have been performing mainly in Osaka Japan. We released first mini album ” IRONAKISORA,TO,AOITUKI (The sky whichdoesn’t have a color.And the moon to be blue.)” in 2005. We are performing dynamically in 2 – 3 paces per month at present, too. ”Bakirinosu ” is the a cap pel la unit by two women RAS and GAKI. The floating sense and the tension to be peculiar intermingle with live space which is played with 2 pieces of voice. Our live space which is played with 2 pieces of voice has the floating sense and the tension to be peculiar intermingle. Our vocal shows a glimpse of the following dimension. The picture runs and the song is born it is every time possible to shake two throats. Every time two throats shake, the picture runs and the song is born. The chord and the rhythm are equal to doing nothing being in spite of being music. It doesn’t have a code though it is music and also a rhythm as if is not,too. But the melody exists surely there and the rhythm is put in there. It continues to be music persistently however it escapes from decision……….. But we don’t mind such a thing . “Bakirinosu ” just like sing a song to play with the sound.
