In this dance solo, idiosyncratic dancer Maria Mavridou is on her way through a
jungle of possibilities, catapulted around, circling through moments of wild energy
and quiet contemplation, struggling with her body, mind, emotions and memories,
confronted with the only reality she can accept: the moment of her approaching
death.

Andrea K. Schlehwein is a director, choreographer and
independent curator. She is the CEO and Creative Director of büro
für tanz I theater I produktionen, a think tank, international
management and production office that manages, supports and
realizes the multimedia and dance productions of NETZWERK
AKS | Platform for Contemporary Dance + Art as well as for other
distinguished and professional artists and institutions. She is one of
the artistic directors of ART SPACE stift millstatt (Austria) a space
for International Contemporary Arts, where she curates and stages
a full year program of contemporary art – dance | visual arts | multi-media | gallery | A. I. R.
(residency program). Since 2008, Schlehwein has been the artistic director of the
internationally active artists’ collective NETZWERK AKS I Platform for Contemporary Dance
+ Art. From 2012-2018 she has been Invited Guest Professor for Choreography and Dance
Creation at the prestigious Korea National University of Arts in Seoul, South Korea. Andrea
K. Schlehwein works as a producer as well as an outside eye for young dance artists in
Europa and Asia. She is member of various juries and writes for online art magazines. For
her work she has received the BMUUK Award from the Austrian Ministry of Culture as well
as the Joeng Mak Arts Award from Daegu International Choreography Festival.

Maria Mavridou
Creation . Dance
Maria Mavridou is a dancer, choreographer and dance teacher
based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, from where she moves
nomadically through Europe and the world. After graduating
from the State School of Dance in Athens, Greece, she did post-
graduate studies at the Dance Space Center and Movement
Research in New York, followed by choreographic studies at the
SNDO (School for New Dance Development) in Amsterdam. As
a dancer, she has been working in countless productions of
various artists and art collectives, while also developing her own
solo work. As a dance teacher, she has lead workshops for movement research and
improvisation in various studios throughout Europe and beyond. She has worked as guest
professor at the Korean National University of Arts in Seoul and at the SNDO in Amsterdam.
Between 2013 and 2017 she partly lived on the Greek island of Aegina, where she co-
organized a space for artistic exchange (77 – space for free sharing of ideas) and co-initiated
the annual Tsak Bam Festival for contemporary art. Maria Mavridou has been a member of
NETZWERK AKS since 2013 and helped shape many of its productions of recent years. In
2016 she choreographed her first NETZWERK AKS production “redfishleg” under the artistic
direction of Andrea K. Schlehwein, followed by “Dark Fog Rebel” in 2017.

Roman Zotter
Artistic and Technical Collaboration
Roman Zotter lives and works as a freelance translator, photographer
and video artist in the Netherlands. After his studies of Journalism
and Communication (with a focus on film studies) as well as English
and American studies at Vienna University, he moved to Amsterdam,
where he started collaborating with various artists of the international
music, dance and performance scene as a photographer and film
maker. Since 2015 he has been working for NETZWERK AKS as a
photographer, videographer as well as technical and artistic
collaborator at the side of Andrea K. Schlehwein. In 2016, during an artist residency at ART
SPACE stift millstatt he co-created, together with Maria Mavridou, the Netzwerk AKS
production redfishleg, followed by Dark Fog Rebel in 2017.

益田さち
１９９０年生まれ。兵庫県出身。幼少よりバレエを始め、２０１２年よりコンテンポラリーダンスを始める。今までにきたまり／KIKIKIKIKIKI、schatzkammer、高野裕子、やなぎみわなどによる作品の出演する他、ショーケースなどで自作の発表も行う。２０１５年夏、ダンサー斉藤綾子とのダンスユニット…1[アマリイチ]を結成。

遠藤僚之介
1988年大阪生まれ。油絵を学んだのち、京都市立芸術大学にて環境デザインを専攻。卒業後、デザイナーとして2年間勤務。同時期、京都にてヤザキタケシ氏にダンスを師事。現在は視覚障害を持つ人たちと共に働き、多様な身体性のある環境に身を置きながら、ダンサーとして活動。 2018年より「ダンスカンパニー・ヲミトルカイ」のメンバーとして活動を開始。同年、郷土芸能移植プロジェクトの一環として「阪神虎舞」にコアメンバーとして参加。 出演作品：インバルオシュマン 振付「The Cuckoo’s cry」／ヤザキタケシ 振付「クロスの刹那」／ユホシク 振付「Logic of Black & White」「木村玲奈 振付「どこかで生まれて、どこかで暮らす」／山本和馬 振付「家の無い庭」etc…
