“Lighting in the Site with Dance” [AKITO SENGOKU(TIME PAINTING) , ryotaro (sound) , Keiko Yamaguchi (dance)
“Lighting in the Site with Dance” is a performance by Keiko Yamaguchi (dance) and ryotaro
(accordion with synthesiser) with an unique visual artist AKITO SENGOKU. ryotaro and
Keiko have toured their dance piece ” Emballage” in Kyoto, Bordeaux, Orlean, Paris and
Stroud (UK) in spring 2015, which received great acclaim in each city. As a visual artist,
AKITO has been developing his original style called TIME PAINTING using Overhead
projectors (OHP), collaborating with various kinds of musicians and dancers as well as other
visual artists from both inside and outside Japan. The photo exhibition “TIME PAINTING”
” LIGHT RESTRAINT” by Naoki Fujita was a documentation of a session of these three

The team performed a piece in Hi Seoul Festival 2015 OFF Program and
attracted the audience in Seoul.

1983年 静岡県浜松市生まれ。京都市在住。2004年より「時間に絵を描く」をテーマに、OHPを用いたヴィジュアルによるライブパフォーマンス “TIME PAINTING”をはじめる。宇宙や空、または細胞の世界を覗きこんだような抽象的なヴィジュアルイメージは、カラーインクやオイル、水などの液体を使って即興的に作られ、投影されている。まるで演奏をするかのように、3台のOHPを同時に操りながら紡がれる、光による物語の世界は、レイヤー状に重なることで深く、より緻密に複雑に広がり続けている。
11.28には、新しく立ち上げたレーベルTIME AND SPACE PROJECTIONSより、山本精一 勝野タカシ PON2 仙石彬人による即興演奏を公開収録した1st LIVE album “∞” [CD+VIDEO] をリリース!

エレクトロニクスを融合したアコーディオン弾き。
早朝の三条大橋と猫をこよなく愛する。
ryotaro is a Kyoto based accordionist, composer and performer. He uses MIDIaccordion;
intermixing accordion, synthesizer and programmed sounds to create
compositions. He graduated in ’96 from Kyoto Seika University. Soon afterwards he
formed the band “elements” with Mitsuru Nasuno, Toru Sanjyo and Yung Tsubotaj
(EP-4). He has collaborated and improvised with various dancers, actors and
painters. In 2008, ryotaro released his 1st solo album “Jelly, nico & I”. Since 2010,
he started working as a booking manager of an art space in Kyoto called
UrBANGUILD (http://www.urbanguild.net) . Here he
encountered and worked with different artists in the region such as Tenko Ima
(Butoh dancer), Akito Sengoku (Time Paintaing). In 2015, ryotaro toured with Keiko
Yamaguchi in France; Bordeaux, Orelean, Paris and Stroud in England and
performed a dance piece “Emballage”.

イギリス・ロンドンでパフォーマンス/演劇を三年間学ぶ。
Keiko Yamaguchi, a dancer, actress and theatre director based in Kyoto. After
studying performing arts at Rose Bruford College in London, she has been working
in Japan as a dancer and an actress with prominent theatre directors such as Yukichi
Matsumoto and Masataka Matsuda, performed in commercial theatres such as New
National Theatre Tokyo and PRCO. Besides, she has been creating her own dance
pieces which cross over the boundary between theatre and dance. In 2010, with
other artists in Kyoto, she started theatre group called BRDG to produce original

Vincent Laubeuf Born in 1974 in Roanne, France, Vincent Laubeuf studied composition with Denis Dufour in Lyon Concervatory. His encounters with Pascal Dusapin, Brian Ferneyhough or Gérard Pesson completed his compositional training. His works have been performed in France at the Palais de Tokyo, the Grand Palais, La Muse en Circuit, the GRM (Paris), Radio France and outside of France in Milano (Festival Giavanotte 5), Geneva (Festival Archipel), New York and Tokyo (Festival CCMC at Institut Français de Tokyo and Kansaï-Kyoto)… As electroacoustic musician he played in festival Total Meeting (Petit Faucheux, Tours), at 4 tours in Japan (with Hugues Vincent, Polo, Paul Ramage… and the Japananes musicians Ishigami Kazuya, Hachiya Maki, Maresuke Okamoto, Matsumoto Mitsuaki, Morishige Yasumune, Muraya Naoya, Yokoyama Yuta… ) and with the project « Kontakte » by Karlheinz Stockhausen, at the « Festival d’Automne » (Amphitheatre of Opera Bastille, Paris…) 2 solo CDs were devoted to him « Rarefactions », Motus and « The Poetics of Vacuum » co-published by Obs * (Russia) and OtO (Japan) Since 2006 Vincent Laubeuf is the artistic director of Motus and of the Futura Festival. Paul Ramage Paul Ramage is a violinist, an improviser and a composer. He started his musical training at the age of 10 with the violin. His accounter with Didier Lockwood, introduced him to jazz and improved music for which he started to build an interest. At the same time he followed his classical violin studies at the Concervatory of Cergy-Pontoise in the classes of Aude Lefevre and Franck Delavalle, as well as chamber music classes by Francois Poly. He passed a D.E.M in jazz and violin. In 2013 he obtained a D.E.M. in electroacoustic composition at the Conservatoire de Paris, in the classes of Denis Dufour and Jonathan Prager. In 2012 and 2013, he followed an internship of acousmatic performance Futura with Jonathan Prager, Tomonari Higaki and Olivier Lamarche. He then obtained a Master in electroacoustic composition from INA_GRM. Composer of thirty opus to this day in acousmatic, mixed as well as instrumental music, he played and was played in various countries (France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Japan, United States, China…). He won the prize Metamorphosis (Music and Research) and received the second prize Russolo (Russolo-Pratella Foundation (Italian) / Studio Forum Annecy) He completed his state certificate diploma (DE) as a music teacher and instructs sound design / creation at the conservatories of Châtenay-Malabry and Bagneux. Today, he is a member of Alcôme (A compagny creating et broadcasting contemporary music) and thereby keeping alive creation in/on all its aspects.
Frédéric Blondy is pianist, composer, improviser and artistic director of the ONCEIM (l’Orchestre de Nouvelles Créations Expérimentations et Improvisations Musicales). He is engaged in a plastic approach to sound. For the last twenty years he has collaborated with a large number of artists and has performed in Europe, North and South America, the Middle East and Asia. He has produced more than twenty albums published on different European labels and his concerts are regularly recorded and broadcast by national radios : France Musique, SWR, BBC, YLE, RTS, …
山内桂
1954年別府市生まれ。 松山の大学時代にサックスと即興演奏と作曲を始め活動する。また、M. グレイブス、D. ベイリー、H, ベニンク、T. ホンジンガー等の初来日松山公演を主催。 以後23年半、会社員の傍ら地方都市松山~大分で自主的な音楽活動を続け、2002年10月以降音楽活動に専念。 音そのものの響きと細胞レベルのコミュニケーションによる、唯一無比で独自の音楽「SALMO SAX」。その音は瑞々しく、煌めいている。サックスソロを中心とした活動は国内外におよぶ。 2008年、サルモサックス・アンサンブル。2016年、バンド「サガイン」。 2012年初制作映画・水の抒情詩「ホフネン」が2カ国の国際映画祭に。2014年第2作「ハルリ」は5カ国の国際映画祭にノミネート。2017年第3作「フウア」。 サルモワールド展開中。

Born in 1978, in Normandy, Samuel André is a self-taught French multimedia artist, presently residing in Kyoto. Trained in mathematics, cognitive sciences and the research of musical interfaces, in 2001, he developed a unique audio project – under the name ieva – composing scores for “imaginary journeys” influenced by acoustic music. His main focus is field recording, and spatiality of sound.
In 2002, he won the 1st prize of the Aquitaine movie-music contest in the experimental movie category and in 2015 the prize of excellence for his collaborative work with Jacques Perconte at Sapporo*north2 AWARD ver.SIAF2014.
