Matured by Matthieu Metzger since his early studies on the band Meshuggah, the Killing Spree trio follows the tradition of rock’n roll’s power trios, but also the listening and freedom inherited from jazz. This project has benefited from the eclectic and international musical career of the saxophonist, but is looking for a unique and coherent music, beyond the patchwork of styles that the mix rock / jazz often generates. The result is contemporary writing, using extreme music and improvisation as tools. The sound palette and the dynamics are broadened, the dark themes of Metal are exploited and confronted with a communicative and positive energy, alternately dancing or cathartic moments that the band is looking forward to happily share with the japanese audience.

Grégoire Galichet (drums) is a powerful Metal drummer beating his drums like a nordic god ! He has played with Hectic Patterns, Djabah, Ufych Sormeer, or Dead Season. He can play very fast and aggressive blast beats, but also reads complex, soft music or improvise – the perfect guy for Killing Spree.

Sylvain Daniel (electric bass) begun music with classical french horn, then moved to electric bass. He has played in many big orchestras or for singers ( french national jazz orchestra, Olivia Ruiz ) and knows also well electronic groove and Afrobeat. He brings to Killing Spree his science of precise and huge bass sound.

Matthieu Metzger (saxes, electro-acoustic screaming, composition) has played in many contexts and a lot of music styles ; modern jazz with the French National Jazz Orchestra, Marc Ducret, Louis Sclavis, contemporary projects with the composer François Sarhan, Metal with the Klonosphere collective, traditional music with Rhizottome, abstract solo music …). He also builds electro-acoustic instruments for his projects.

関西を拠点にコンテンポラリーダンス、演劇公演の音楽やアートインスタレーションの音楽を制作。「Dance Company BABY-Q」、ノンバーバルパフォーマンス公演「ギア」、東野祥子ソロダンス　「VACUUM ZONE」、インスタレーション「プロジェクト・ノオトオン」、大阪HEPホールプロデュース『ハムレット」などの音楽を担当。AMBIENT、ELECTRONICA、NOISEを消化し、空間を立体的に考察したサウンドデザインを行う。 ライブではPC+パーカッションを使って演奏し、画家やパフォーマー、映像作家、ライブミュージシャンとのセッションを重ねる。

2011年 京都にて誕生。vo/gむうとん、vo/baあずみ、vo/drやすよ。
ファンタジックで、サイケデリックで、オルタナティブ。さらにマスロックの雰囲気を漂わせながらも、ガールズバンドならではの不思議なPOPさを併せ持つ音。
メンバー全員が手がける独特の歌詞と、ギター、ベース、ドラムとそれぞれのうたがバラバラのようでそれでいてひとつに聴こえる魔法のように溶けてまざった数えきれないの世界。
2015年のエイプリルフールに、1stアルバム『数えきれない』をリリース。

2004 年より「時間に絵を描く」をテーマに、OHPを用いたヴィジュアルによるライブパフォーマンス”TIME PAINTING”をはじめる。楽器を演奏をするかのように３台のOHPを同時に操りながら紡がれる光の絵は、絶えず変化し続け２度と同じにはならないそ の場限りの物語を描く。あらゆるジャンルのミュージシャンやダンサー、アーティストととのコラボレートを通して、LIVEという表現方法にこだわってい る。

2017 年01月には国際交流基金の助成を受け、約一ヶ月におよぶフランスツアーを実施。フランスのデュオRhizottome、箏奏者の今西玲子との公演「庭師 の夢」を４都市にて上演。また、アートを通じたこどもの教育活動にも積極的に取り組んでおり、浜松 鴨江アートセンターや金沢21世紀美術館など、全国各地でこども向けWS「じかんに絵をかこう」も行なっている。
