フェルナンド・カブサッキ
1965年、アルゼンチン・ロサリオ生まれ。ブエノスアイレス在住。5才のときに手にした2弦ギターがきっかけでギターを始める。
1988 年に渡英してロバート・フリップ（キング・クリムゾン）のギター・クラフト・コースに参加。リーグ・オブ・クラフティ・
ギタリスツ（LCG）の一員として 度々フリップの世界ツアーに帯同する。1991年より、ブエノスアイレスのフィルム・アーカイヴ
と共同で、無声映画のサウンドトラックを即興演奏する不定 形のプロジェクト、ナショナル・フィルム・チェンバー・オーケスト
ラを立ち上げる。1992年には、LCGの主要メンバーだったアルゼンチン出身のエルナ ン・ヌニェスとスティーヴ・ボールと共に、
ベルリンでロス・ガウチョス・アレマネス（LGA）を結成し、今に至るまで断続的に活動を継続。1995年から 数年の間、フォルク
ローレ・シンガー、リリアナ・エレーロのバンドでギタリストをつとめる。1998年には初のソロ・アルバム『Houses I』を発表。
この前後からフェルナンド・サマレア、マリア・ガブリエラ・エプメール、サンチャゴ・ヴァスケス、アレハンドロ・フラノフ、
マリア・エヴァ・ アルビストゥール、フアナ・モリーナ、アクセル・クリヒエールらと頻繁に共演を重ね、お互いの作品に参加す
るようになる。2000年にセカンド・アルバム 『The Planet… and its beings』を発表。この作品には、エルメート・パスコアル、
チャーリー・ガルシアやモノ・フォンタナも参加2002年、フアナ・モリーナのサポート・ ギタリストとして初来日。関連作品も次々
に紹介され、「アルゼンチン音響派」の最重要人物として一躍注目を集める。これをきっかけに、山本精一や勝井祐二 をはじめ、日
本の様々なアーティストとの交流を深め、即興セッションを中心に多くの共演とリリースを重ねる。長短編映画やアニメーションの
ための作曲も多 数。2011年6月にソロ作としては7枚目となるアルバム『LUCK』を日本盤発売。以降、精力的に来日を重ね（2013年、
14年、16年）、毎回多く の日本人アーティストとステージを共にしている。直近最新作は、モリコーネやジョナサン・リッチマンの
カバーを含む2014年秋発売の『The Champion』。
2017年、カブサッキはフィルマンザネラバンドのアルゼンチンツアーでギターを演奏。その他にも、Tiny Orchestral Moments、Damo Suzuki、
Otomo Yoshihide、Robert Fripp＆The Orchestra of Crafty Guitarists、Vernon Reid、Flopa、California Guitar Trio、Trickyなどとレコー
ディングやライブを行い、多くのコラボレーションをリリースしました。
2019年10月にアコースティックギターのプロジェクトThe Quintetsで、アルゼンチンとチリで開催されたキングクリムゾンのコンサート
でオープニングアクトとして演奏。
現在、スモ×ペティナート、エレクトリック・ガウチョス、マキシ・トルーソ、マリーナ・ファーへス、フェルナンド・サマレア、アン
サンブル・デ・ギタラス・デ・コグラン、フランシスコ・ボチャトンらと共演しています。
Fernando Kabusacki
Born in 1965 in Rosario, Argentina. Lives in Buenos Aires. I started playing the guitar with a 2-string guitar I got when I was five years old. In 1988,
went to England to join Robert Fripp’s (King Crimson) Guitar Craft course. As a member of the League of Crafty Guitarists (LCG), he frequently attends
Fripp world tours and courses. In 1991, in collaboration with Filmoteca Buenos Aires, he founded La National Film Chamber Orchestra, a project that
improvises live soundtracks for silent films. In 1992, he formed Los Gauchos Alemanes (LGA) in Berlin with Argentinean Hernán Núñez and Steve Ball,
who were members of the LCG. From 1995 for several years, he has been a guitarist in the band of Folklore Singer Liliana Herrero. In 1998, he released
his first solo album “Houses I”. From then on, he will often collaborate with Fernando Samalea, Maria Gabriela Epumer, Santiago Vazquez, Alejandro
Franov, Maria Eva Albistur, Juana Molina, Axel Krichier, etc. become. In 2000, he released his second album “The Planet … and its beings”. Hermeto
Pascoal, Charly Garcia and Mono Fontana also participated in this work. In 2002, he came to Japan for the first time as a support guitarist for Juana
Molina. Related works are also introduced one after another, attracting attention as the most important person of the “Argentine acoustic school”. This
led to deepening exchanges with various Japanese artists such as Seiichi Yamamoto and Yuji Katsui, and many co-starring and releasing mainly on
improvisation sessions. Many compositions for movies and short films and animations. In June 2011, the 7th album “LUCK” was released as a solo
album in Japan. Since then, he has been energetically visiting Japan (2013, 14, 16) and has been performing with many Japanese artists every time. The
latest work is “The Champion” released in the fall of 2014, including the covers of Morricone and Jonathan Richman.
In 2017 he played guitars in Phil Manzanera’s band during his visit to Argentina.
Kabusacki also recorded or played live with Tiny Orchestral Moments, Damo Suzuki, Otomo Yoshihide, Robert Fripp & The Orchestra of Crafty
Guitarists, Vernon Reid, Flopa, California Guitar Trio, Tricky and many others, having released countless collaborations.
With the acoustic project The Quintets he played as opening act at King Crimson concerts in Argentina and Chile in October 2019.
Currently plays with Sumo x Pettinato, Electric Gauchos, Maxi Trusso, Marina Fages, Fernando Samalea, Ensamble de Guitarras de Coghlan and
Francisco Bochaton among others.
