宮嶋哉行 (Saikou Miyajima) 音楽家
3 歳から鈴木メソッドでヴァイオリンを習う。クラシック、ロック、ジャズ、電子音楽等様々な演奏方法を経て、 即興による演奏活動を始める。ライブ演奏の完成度と音の豊かさは、即興やヴァイオリンという言葉のもつ 従来のイメージを変えると評価が高い。ソロ活動の他、katsunova、UrBAKANA といった即興ユニット、 ダンスや絵画、映像作品とのコラボレーションなども積極的に行っている。

イガキアキコ
音楽家・ヴァイオリニスト。 CFや映像作品、ダンス、演劇、体操音楽などあらゆる分野への楽曲提供や即興演奏を行う。 メインバンドである歌もの女性デュオ『たゆたう』では、日本人ならではの世界観にこだわった楽曲を作詞作曲、ヴァイオリン、おもちゃ、スティールパン、コーラスなどを担当し、劇団子供鉅人楽団のスピンオフバンド『４日目バンド』、『電気ジプシー・スペシャル』『ファンファーレ・ロマンギャルド』等様々なバンドで活動するほか、様々なアーティストの演奏サポートを行っている。 ベルギー、ブルガリア、オーストラリア、韓国など海外演奏ツアーも行い現地の演奏家とも共演するなど、国内外で活動している。

This seems to be the most suitable way to describe what is going on
here: Their music is free, definitely improvised. There’s no boundries.
Exploring sound and structure, harmony and disharmony. No
wonder that this sounds… bulky, eruptive, at times brutal, at times
irritating, seldom calm or soothing. Though, at least it’s never
unspectacular, halfhearted or ill-considered.
With CHRISTOPH ERB on tenor and soprano saxophone and
FRANTZ LORIOT on viola, they establish a double-entente based on
the listening to the other, the exploration of the unknown and the
vertigo of the moment.
The duo released its debut CD “Sceneries”, on the Portuguese label
Creative Sources in April 2016.

DAVE MOSS  デーヴ • モス (bass)
Dave Moss is an electric and double bassist, and avid explorer of sound, who has been interested in how the nature of sound relates to all aspects of life, in addition to how sound can offer profound healing qualities to the world at large.  As a performer, teacher and composer, Moss has been deeply inspired to realize the multiple dimensions of sound, which has opened up a plethora of possibilities for him to dive into and participate with, which go beyond mere musical systems, styles and techniques.

Dave Moss had lived in New York City for nearly 13 years and has since relocated to Kyoto, Japan as of January, 2016.  During his time in New York City, he had performed and collaborated with Eric McPherson, William Parker, Daniel Carter, Charnette Moffett, Demian Richardson, Aaron Scott, Salim Washington, Kenny Wessel, Ferenc Nemeth, John Blum, and Charles Gayle.  Several groups included:   WAKE UP!, SEARCH, Three Daves, Gumma Tribe and The Missing Ones.  Moss has also written pieces for solo bass, and plays in the electronic, experimental group, Platypus Revenge.  Perhaps one of the biggest moments for Moss, was meeting his long-time hero, Ornette Coleman. This introduction had led to regular, deeply transformational meetings and sessions, every few months, for over 8 years.

After studying for one year at The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music, Moss transferred and later graduated from The City College of New York with a BFA in Music.  In his spare time, he enjoys learning Japanese and studying comparative mythology.

2003年にニューヨークへ移り、奨学金を得て、New School コンテンポラリー音楽部 • ジャズ科へ入学。その後、ニューヨーク市立大学City College音楽学部ジャズパフォーマンス科へ編入し、2006年、同大学にてBFAを取得、卒業。

ニューヨークでの活躍は、ジョン • ゾーンの主催するThe Stone、Spectrum、Cornelia Street Cafe、The Issue Project Roomなど数々の有名なライブハウスでの演奏、Charnette Moffett、Eric McPherson、Ferenc Nemeth、William Parkerなどとの共演、Charlie Parker Jazz Festival、World Science Festival、Care Fusion Jazz Festivalなど様々なミュージック フェスティバルへの出演、に加えてジャズグループ SEARCH、ジャズロックグループ WAKE UP! 、エレクトロニック ジャズ ロックグループPlatypus Revengeなどのグループでの活躍、CDリリース（Dried Orange Records、577 recordsより発売）など、多岐にわたる。2009年、音楽雑誌 All About Jazz Magazineに、2010年、Downbeat Magazine, Special 2010 Winter Editionにてジャズグループ SEARCHのCDレビューが掲載され、2010年には、WIRE magazine にて WAKE UP! が取り上げられ、そのオリジナル性が高く評価される。2014年には、ニューヨークのラジオ局 WKCR Radio Stationにて２時間に渡るインタビュー/演奏の番組出演。また、8年に渡るOrnette Colemanとの度重なるセッションは、Dave Moss の音楽観、哲学、世界観に深い変容をもたらした。

ジャズというジャンルを超えて、様々な要素を取り入れる彼の音楽は、留まる事を知らず、探求し続ける。2016年より京都へ拠点を移し、ニューヨーク～京都～アジアへと活動を展開していく予定。

Kaori Yoshikawa and the Refusal to Listen
A multidisciplinary Japanese poet who works with performance, sound,
voice, photographs, painting, text, objects and moving image.
Her performances have been called “still life”, containing at times marginal
movements and elements of theatre – through a series of works such
as Solo Clubbing, in which Kaori Yoshikawa engages with food that she
finds distasteful or nauseous, the Invasion / Trespass series that sees
Kaori Yoshikawa negotiating with the act of simultaneously dressing and
undressing, or Kaori Does Her Own Plumbing, in which she practises
synchronized writing with both hands.
Making irregular appearances are sound pieces from her No Loitering: The
Poetics of Sound field recording series which is based on the idea of
otomore (Japanese): sounds that leak from others’ domain into ours. From
otomore of personal headphones and live houses to arguments and
conversations in public city spaces that enter our ears, we find ourselves
facing invasion. When these sounds are recorded, the line between
invasion and trespass becomes blurred and the sounds themselves
become suspended and isolated from ownership.

もぐらが一周するまで
佐藤亘によるエレクトリックギターを使用するソロユニット。といいつつパーカッションのトギリョウヘイとのデュオ形式でのライブが最近はメイン。反復フレーズの減衰/増幅を利用したエレクトリックギターミュージック。ソロライブはもとより、近年はパーカッションとのデュオ形式をはじめ、ミュージシャン、演劇、舞踏、狂言、ライブペイント、パフォーマー、映像集団・・・・とのセッション等、その活動は多岐にわたる。重たい腰をあげての初の音源「R is for rounding mole」 「M is for mogura ga issyu suru made」をリリース。
