このたび 2019年5月11日（土）、木屋町のライブハウス「Urbanguild」にてPechaKucha Night Kyoto Vol.34（第34回ペチャクチャナイト京都）を開催します！

ペチャクチャナイトは、2003年に東京で若手のデザイナーたちが自身の作品を発表するためのイベントとして始まり、今では世界中にある1,100以上の都市に広まっています。

今回のテーマ：「オブセッション！」
これまでペチャクチャのステージではではウィスキーから物理学まで、紙製のロボットからVRまで、驚くほど様々なトピックに関する発表が共有されてきました。そこに一貫して共通するテーマは、皆さんご存知の通りスピーカーの皆さんがもつ情熱、趣味そして仕事についてですが、３４回目となる今回はそんな情熱を超越する究極の「こだわり」についてスピーカーの皆さんに発表をしてもらいます。あなたが夢中になっているもの、もはや中毒になっているものはなんですか？そのためなら何を置いてでも時間を作ろうとするものはなんですか？究極の「こだわり」こそが私たちに唯一のキャラクターを与えるものです。その「こだわり」が物凄くヘンテコなものであるのであれば尚良し。でその熱をペチャクチャのステージにぶつけてください！

「あなたが熱く語れるもの」を求めています！
個性豊かなスピーカーの皆さんには、アイデアやビジョン、ストーリーを観客に共有して頂きたいです。アーティスト、デザイナー、活動家、発明家、クリエイターなど、様々なジャンルを超える合計9名前後のプレセンターを募集します。

We are very excited to announce PechaKucha Night Kyoto Vol.34 will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Urbanguild, Kyoto! PechaKucha Night began in Tokyo in 2003 as an event for young designers to show their work and has now spread to over 1,100 cities worldwide.

Theme: “Obsession!”
We have seen an amazing variety of topics at Pechakucha, everything from whisky to physics, paper robots to VR. The only connecting theme throughout is that people have shared their passion, whether its work or a hobby. For Vol.34, we ask you to go further and share your obsessions. What are you addicted to? What is it that you absolutely must make time for? We want to know! Obsessions are what make us unique. No matter how strange it may be, share your amazing obsessions at the next Pechakucha Night Kyoto.

“Present Your Passion”
We are hoping to host a wild and wonderful mix of artists, designers, activists, inventors and creators who can share their ideas, visions and adventures. We plan to invite approximately nine presenters, keeping in mind a balance of Japanese/non-Japanese presentations.
