カナダ人の父 日本人の母を持つ。
ノスタルジックなメロディと浮遊感のある声で独自の世界観を確立した。映画”海街diary “の劇中歌で歌唱を担当。
最近ではKIRIN グリーンラベルのキャンペーンCMでアイスランドのバンドmumの Gunnar Tynesと楽曲を共同制作、歌唱を担当し、活動の幅を広げている。
新プロジェクトとして8月末にHot Buttered Recordから7インチレコードをリリース予定。

Recently worked with Gunnar Tynes from the Icelandic band Mum on advertising music for Kirin.

山本啓 （やまもと ひらく）
滋賀県出身。
クラシック、ロック、テクノ、エレクトロニカ、アンビエント、ノイズ等のエッセンスを取り入れたフレーズを奏でるバイオリニストであり、日本屈指のインストバンドNabowaのメンバーとして国内外でライブを行うほか、個人でもあらゆるジャンルのアーティストの作品、ライブに参加。
バイオリン以外にもギターや自ら調律を施したアコースティックピアノを使い、エフェクトやループを駆使し、音響機材、照明、映像まで全て自ら機材を持ち込み空間をまるごと自分の色に染め上げるソロライブも各地で高い評価を得ている。
2017年1月にはピアニストのYuma Koda氏とともにアイスランド、KEX でのライブを成功させた。
京都のプライベートスタジオ「THE GATE」にて日々制作、研究を重ねている。
