国立高等装飾美術大学（パリ）でコンテンポラリーダンスと芸術学を学び、パフォーミングアーツと美術の分野において身体、運動、表現の可能性を探求している。 コントゥールは連想と類似の戯れによって、事物をつなぎ合わせ展開させていく独自の手法を用い続けている。ダンス、庭園、映画、催眠、休息術、茶道、写真、グラフィックアート、陶芸といった他分野の専門家やアーティストとコラボレーションすることによって、さまざまな体験を、彼女の詩学に基づきながら物体や儀式へと変容させ、観客を幻想と想像の世界へと誘う。人との出会いや場所との相互作用により、想像力の共同体を形成する。とりわけ、庭園や風景に対する造詣の深さと催眠の技術のために、ダンスの分野においては稀有な才能として評価されている。また、彼女自身はその才能を教育やアートの分野に活かし、さらなる可能性を探求している。 現在、セーヴル国立陶磁器美術館にて滞在制作中。2014年アンスティチュ・フランセ”Hors les Murs”奨励者。ゲテ・リリック劇場（パリ）の2014年のLes Danses Augmentéesシリーズの一つを担当し、身体・パフォーマンスとテクニック・テクノロジーの関係を扱う。

Catherine Contour
Choreographer, artist-explorer.
She was born in Paris, lives near Grenoble and, since the 1980s, has worked wherever her projects have
taken her.
With a double diploma in Contemporary Dance and Stage Design from the Paris Higher Institute of
Decorative Arts, she explores the body, dance and performance connections and devices, in an intimate
exchange with place through the question of habitation.
She founded the Maison Contour, an artistic trademark, progressive website and nomadic form of creation
based on the temporary habitation of partner-locations such as the Fondation Royaumont, Lamelouze in the
Cévennes, the Cité de la Céramique in Sèvres and Paris’ Gaîté Lyrique Theater: Digital Culture.
She was creative director for the KOB Association from 1988 to 2015, founding the 40Neuf Association
in 2016, which supports her approach inspired by the desire to broaden the field of dance and to share
knowledge through creation, research and transmission.
As an artist, she is in a class of her own, continually creating connections, moving forward through play
on associations. She works closely with artists and researchers in temporary groups, as with Chambre –
étapes chorégraphiques en chambres d’hôtels (Room – choreographic stages in hotel rooms) from 1996 to 2001.
From dance to gardens, film to hypnosis, the art of the siesta to the tea ceremony, photography to graphic
design and ceramics, she transforms these experiences into objects or “rituals” offering a shift into fantasy
and the imaginary.
For the past fifteen years, setting out from her main anchor, dance, she has been exploring the artistic and
educational possibilities of the hypnotic technique heightened by knowledge of various Western and Asian
art movements and has designed an original tool for creators based on emancipation, which is a
combination of archaism and cutting-edge research.
Her creations in various forms and formats Autoportraits accompagnés (Accompanied self-portraits), Plages
(Beaches), Plongées (Dives), Infusions (Infusions) invent modes of habitation that develop an imagination
and sensitivity conducive to choreographed moves and a form of being together that intensifies our
presence in the world.
Committed to a reflection on education in art, she is involved in transmission and invents methods
adapted to various contexts such as the Cultiver l’art du repos (Cultivate the art of rest) laboratories.
Catherine Contour worked with the Gaîté Lyrique Theater for the 2013/14 Danses Augmentées cycle.
She benefitted from a research and heritage grant from the French National Dance Center and from the
Hors Les Murs program run by the Institut Français which funded a stay in Japan in 2014, leading to a
collaboration with the designer, Goliath Dyèvre. Together they designed devices for Plongées and dances with
hypnosis involving numerous dancers, musicians along with the director, Mathieu Bouvier.
Her exploration has continued since 2016 through new choreographed objects, raising the question of tools
and practices to resonate with a place, relating to an environment, where she uses outdoor creation as a
landscape project, from the Cévénnes to Japan, Jean-Jacques Rousseau Park in Ermenonville to the Sion
Art Museum in Switzerland, the Pompidou Centers in Paris and Metz, from the old Scène Nationale
movie theater in Saint-Brieuc to the Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature in Paris, from the Magasin des
Horizons – art center in Grenoble to the Martell Foundation in Cognac etc.
In June 2017, the book Une Plongée avec Catherine Contour – Créer avec l’outil hypnotique (A dive with Catherine
Contour – creating with the hypnotic tool) was published by Naïca Editions with the support of the
French National Book Center.
This work continues and she is currently setting up a new research and creation program for 2018-2020:
Bain, in partnership with the French National Dance Center, the French Culture Ministry (Auvergne-
Rhône-Alpes Cultural Affairs), the city of Grenoble, the Martell Foundation in Cognac, where she took
part in an art residency in 2017-2018 and numerous other partners, among whom the Parc Naturel de la
Chartreuse and the Dôme Theater in Albertville.
In July 2018, she is coming back to Japan, country with which she is steadily building a history, for a
residence near Fukuoka (place she discovered back in 2013 during her Hors de les murs stay organised by
the French Institute). This residence (benefiting financial support from Grenoble city and the French
Institute) enable a new series of créations called Suites japonaises (Japanese suites) including Une plage en
Chartreuse (A beach in Chartreuse) that will be created in Grenoble in the Chartreuse mountains in June 2019.

エレクトロニクスを融合したアコーディオン弾き。京都精華大学卒業し96年からナスノミツル (アルタードステイツ)、三条とおる (EP-4)らの［elements］に加入後、数々のアングラの巨匠達との共演を経て近年、梅津和時らと共に中山ラビのツアーメンバーを務め、アルバム[ My Back Pages ]をリリース。’12年よりFRYING DUTCHMANのレコーディングに参加した事をきっかけに、ツアーに同行。’16年より梶原徹也 (ex. THE BLUE HEARTS)、 eiji （Dachambo）と共に正式にメンバー入り。 またミュージシャンだけでなくダンサー、パフォーマー、ペインター等との共演を展開。舞踏家の今 貂子 [舞踏] と 仙石彬人 [TIME PAINTING] とのパフォーマンスユニット[ミズモノ]を結成。ヨーロッパを中心に海外でのライヴ活動も精力的に行い、’15年にはHi Seoul Festival に出演。’10, ’11年と、coba主催のイヴェントに参加。’09年から京都木屋町UrBANGUILDのブッキング担当。早朝の三条大橋と猫をこよなく愛する。

田村興一郎
92年生まれ。振付作家・ダンサー・アーティスト。京都在住。DANCE PJ REVOを主宰、国内外で創作活動を展開中。振付家として身体を多彩な視点で捉えており、そのマルチな作風からは”ミニマルハードコア”と呼ばれている。横浜ダンスコレクションにて奨励賞、最優秀新人賞、若手振付家のための在日フランス大使館賞、シビウ国際演劇祭賞を受賞。KDC×SDC Artist-in-Residence Program 2018(Seoul/韓国)参加アーティスト。Dance New Air 2018ショーケースプログラムのキュレーター。

市川まや
幼少よりバレエを始め大阪芸術大学に入学後、コンテンポラリーダンスに傾倒。同大学院修了後、劇団維新派で役者を経験。Liz Lerman Dance E changeに衝撃を受け、そのWS参加者でKyoto Dance Exchangeを設立。地域の幅広い年代のダンサーが在籍。現在代表。 オランダに移住し、コミニティーダンスのインターンシップや公演に参加し帰国。 自分自身の挑戦と各地のダンサーの紹介と交流のため「弾丸だんす」を3ヶ国8都市で開催。 FOuR DANCERS vol.101 で The NOBEBO 京都として金粉デビュー。

Christopher Fryman
第二次世界大戦中に英国マンチェスターで生まれカナダで育つ。オーストラリア、パプアニューギニアに住み 、30年前より東京を経て京都に移り住む。 映画、テレビ、劇場で40年間働く。 フィルム事業から引退後、トランペット奏者の傍ら作曲を始める。 ジャンルはジャズバンド、ジプシー音楽、フリー·インプロヴィゼーション、また現代舞踊音楽のカバーなどを手がける
